+ What date do orders need to be in by?

Orders need to be received by the 25th of the month in order to be guaranteed inclusion in the next shipment, which ships out on the 1st of the following month. We will try to accommodate late orders, but cannot guarantee completion.

+ What date do orders ship?

Orders ship on the 1st of the month. If the 1st falls on a weekend or holiday, orders will be shipped the next business day.

+ When can I expect my order to arrive?

All orders are shipped via Canada Post. Depending on your location, you can expect to receive your order within 3-6 business days.

+ How much is in an order?

Each monthly delivery includes 760 grams of granola; that’s 380 grams of each flavour.

+ If I don't like a flavour or am allergic, what are my options?

At this point your best options are to postpone your subscription for a month or make someone REALLY happy by gifting one of your bags. We’re working on other options like doubling up on one flavour or choosing from past favourites, and will let you know when that’s available.

+ What's the commitment?

There’s NO COMMITMENT! Stop or postpone your deliveries at any time. No problem, no questions asked.

+ Can I pause?

Heck yeah. Maybe you’re heading out of town or just really hate chocolate (weirdo) go ahead and give your subscription a pass for a month. To do so, please contact us at kendall@themodernpantry.ca

+ How will I know what this months flavours are?

You will receive an email on the 20th of the month letting you know what flavours to expect on your next delivery. If you love surprises ignore those emails completely.

+ How long will my granola last?

Granola is a shelf stable product and will stay fresh in its sealed bag for 3 months. No need to refrigerate! If you happen to be heading out of town and want it to be fresh when you get home, go ahead an pop your bags in the freezer.

+ I want to order extra. Can I do that?

Right now? No. As we get things rolling over here we want to make sure that the system is perfect and simple to start with. That will be changing really soon though.

If you’re asking because you think your office/ school/ cafe would like delicious seasonal granola (you’re right, they would), shoot over an email and we’ll chat.

+ Where do you ship to?

We ship within Canada using Canada Post. If you’re not home and there isn’t a secure place for your post delivery person to leave the package they’ll leave behind a note and you will be able to pick up at your nearest post office.

We recommending getting your delivery shipped to your office so that this is never a problem.

+ How much does shipping cost?

Nothing! Shipping is included in the price of your monthly subscription.

+ Where do you source product from?

Whenever possible, from small, local farmers close to home. For example, our oats come from Agassiz, honey is from Langley, and most of the fruit comes from Cawston.

Are you a farmer growing nuts, fruits, or herbs and want to be featured? Send over an email and we’ll chat.

+ Do you make everything yourself?

We sure do! Everything is lovingly made in small batches to make sure the quality standard remains high.

+ Does your granola come in any other sizes?

Currently the subscription service only comes in the one size. However, wholesale orders come in both the standard (360 grams) size and snack-packs (100 grams) and are available for office teams or retailers. Get in touch to discuss your breakfast needs.

+ Do you sell at any stores?

Yes! There are a few flavours available in both 360 gram bags and 100 gram snack-packs at small grocers and cafes. If you know of a store which you would like to stock our granola please put us in touch!

Seasonal, rotating flavours are only available through the subscription.

+ Is it possible to get a shipment on a different day?

Right now, no. But that’s likely to change.

+ "I really like..." can you make it?

We’re always open to ideas so feel free to reach out with your wildest granola desires. If you have a great idea that we choose for a future month we'll send you that month’s order free!

+ How do you ship?

We ship via Canada Post standard service. You can expect to receive your granola within 3-6 days after it ships.

+ What kind of packaging do you use?

Garbage is the WORST. All of our bags are compostable (except for the tin tie) and boxes are recyclable. The boxes are also the perfect size for wrapping all sorts of gifts and are often re-used for gorgeous birthday presents.

+ Is your product gluten free?

Usually, yes, but sometimes grains other than oats will be used so it’s best to check the ingredients before making assumptions. This granola is NOT celiac friendly as we produce in a bakery kitchen and can’t guarantee that there hasn’t been cross-contamination.

+ Can I buy this as a gift?

You sure can! And seriously, who wouldn’t want a delivery of delicious granola as a gift? Good idea ;)
