Modern Pantry Truffle Club
Truffles are as elusive and sought-after as any food in the world, and for good reason. They require nothing less than perfect growing conditions; only a trained animal can find them (or those crazy enough to follow swarms of flies); and once harvested have to be consumed immediately as they lose 10% of their potency every day. So it makes sense that until now it has been exceptionally difficult to get your hands on fresh truffles in Vancouver (and if you could the express shipping costs would put you in the poor house).
The Modern Pantry has partnered with Johann and Lisa, the lovely husband and wife team of Les Pastras, to provide an exciting new way to get a true taste of Provence. Shipping, customs, and permits are all taken care of, so that just leaves you the job of sitting back and enjoying. Preferably with a glass of champagne.
We're mixing things up this year with a special delivery for New Years Eve - no year-long commitment required! Sign up like normal using the form on the right and consider your New Years plans made. Of course, this shipment includes a few simple (and a few decadent) recipes so the planning is done for you.

The club membership entitles you to one delivery of black Perigord truffles shipped directly from the farm for maximum freshness. The order includes 100 grams of truffles, vacuum packed for freshness, as well as recipes for best use.
Winter truffles arrive December 30th, 2016.
For your convenience there will be two pick up locations in Vancouver. Please choose the one closest to you and you will receive the exact address shortly before delivery.
