What people are saying...
Remarkable value, given the complete package that was provided, the knowledge, expertise, and enthusiasm of Kendall and Matthew, as well as the experience of meeting and learning first-hand from the various farmers (vineyards, olive oil, truffles, goat cheese), attending a number of local markets, first class accommodation and , above all, the fabulous food and camaraderie -- all this, at a cost that is most affordable. This is a 5 Star experience🔸🔸🔸🔸🔸. - Mary
Kendall was so accommodating and the generosity of her time, wine, champagne and all the first class foods was amazing. She eagerly shared her extensive knowledge of the Provence area and all the fine foods we were served. Kendall has a wonderful rapport with the farms visited and I learned so much! Our accommodation in the serene village of Oppede was absolutely beautiful, so quiet and tranquil. The entire tour was beyond my wildest expectations and I would highly recommend it for anyone looking for an exceptional holiday!! - Joanne
You said you wanted to get out of rainy Vancouver and go on an adventure. You said you wanted to see a little history firsthand, make friends with locals, and eat like it was going out of style (justified because you've been exploring all day). You said you've always wanted to see Provence.
Well, here's your chance. Whether you're a seasoned traveler or first-time flier, taking a trip with The Modern Pantry means all of your needs are taken care of. Get picked up and dropped off at the Avignon train station, call a charming B&B home for a week, fill your days with just the right amount of activity (so you feel like you took advantage of the day but aren't completely pooped), and head home knowing you've not only seen, but experienced the real Provence.
With a maximum group size of 8 adventurous travelers, this tour is truly about you. You'll be staying here, doing cooking classes here, and visiting producers like this. Have a look at this recap from 2016 for an idea of what to expect.
